Awards

What are awards? Awards in general as stated on Wikipedia.org are:

"An award is something given to a person or a group of people to recognize excellence in a certain field; a certificate of excellence. Awards are often signified by trophies, titles, certificates, commemorative plaques, medals, badges, pins or ribbons. Awards can be given by any person or institution, although the prestige of an award usually depends on the status of the awarder. Usually, awards are given by an organization of some sort, or by the office of an official within an organization or government. "

Now, we aren't going to give you a gaint trophy for an award, but rather a website award. Want to see what some webmasters have said about website awards?

These are just a view of what many webmasters feel when they receive awards. Anymore, awards are placed on older websites (most at least five years or older) as a place of a memory and such. Few people still do awards (The Deep Submerge Awards, for example) have been still going.
