Domain
I got my domain in the summer of 2008 and I got the name from my favorite Sailor Moon song "Eien no Melody." During this entire time, the beginning of E-M.net was a Pokemon fansite, but I later changed ideas constantly. I finally got in fanlistings and applied for my first fanlisting ever for Pokemon movie, The Rise of Darkrai and got approved for it! As time went on, I got annoyed because I didn't have a fanlisting collective or scripts that could make owning fanlistings easier, luckily, Buruma offered to host me.
Can I get hosted by you?
I got asked this question a lot when E-M.net was hosted with Ziedrich.net and the answer is no, because I am hosted by Buruma. I recommend
Buruma,
Cherry.nu, or
Bubble.nu.
Why are your English words spelled "different" than others and why is your date format different?
This question SHOULD be fairly easy to understand, but considering I've gotten two e-mails about it already, I will answer it. I live in the United States, where we have slightly different spellings on our English words than those of England and other countries. In the 1800s, my country stated that we should change our writing system up because we were still using the United Kingdom's 'form of spelling' and Webster helped change up several different spellings in my country's English writing system. One major change is a lot of the words we use now do not have the "ou" in them, rather we justed change them to an "o" (example is instead of colour, we spell it color, though prounced the same way). The date format is also different, so I will also explain that once again in the United States, we write the dates a bit different. Instead of 25 June 2001, we would write it June, 25th, 2001, though I try to be friendly to worldwide users and use the "formal" way of writing the date.
