Better Hands (also named Kirari no Melody) was made four years ago when Eien-Melody.net was hosted by Ziedrich.net and I already had some fanlistings created. The website was founded on September 10, 2008, when I was finally able to get all of my old content up on the Internet. I saw that it would be nice to be able to organize where I linked my collective and I the collective. However, the entire collective ran mostly on HTML and I updated all of it by hand every day. Luckily, the wonderful Buruma offered to host me when I wanted to try and run my fanlistings without manually updating entirely by HTML. Buruma approved my hosting request and since then, I have been hosted by her! Buruma has been a fantastic host and I truly recommend her if you are looking for a decent amount of space if you want to have a few fanlistings hosted with her.

Better Hands comes from Natalie Grant's song "In Better Hands." It is a Christian song sang by wonderful singer who touched me earlier this year (2012) when I was lost into myself. Life has not been the "piece of cake" that it used to be and I was in a very bad place in my life. I was not doing very well in school, my fanfiction was never updated, my friends noticed I seemed to be empty, and even my family suffered from the state my life was in. While not everything has been fully healed (in my opinion), I feel as if this song and others led God to talk to me in ways that he never did before.

Kirari no Melody translates into "Sparkling Melody" or even "A Sparkling Melody" from the Japanese language. Although the name is based from the live action version from Sailor Moon, I picked a name that could match almost anything as well as something that involved music (aka melodies). At the time I created the original version of this collective, I had been in marching band and I was in drastic love with music at the time.
