Quick Facts

Here are some quick facts about Krillin that many people ask and I figured I'd post the answers up to them. Please note that I will not answer these questions in the weekly rotation or on the theories page because.

Is Krillin naturally bald?
No, Krillin is not naturally bald and for proof, look at pictures of him during the Majin Buu saga. Krillin shaves his head throughout all of Dragonball and most of Dragonball Z. His reason is that "All who aspire the master the martial arts shave their heads" and oddly enough, he states that to Goku and Master Roshi, which Master Roshi is naturally bald like Tien. Later on, probably Android 18 convinced Krillin to start growing his hair out when they got married or he simply decided to quit shaving his head.

Can the Destructo Disk/Kienzan cut through anything?
Yes, in the manga, the Kienzan cannot be stopped, only dodged. The Kienzan can injure many people because it is powerful enough to cut Frieza's tail off, who is stronger than Krillin. In the anime however, the Kienzan is shown to have not worked on Perfect Cell that it exploded among impact. However, this scene was filler and it is up to debate whether the Kienzan could have cut Cell's head off. However, even if the technique did manage to cut Cell's head off, he would have most likely regenerated it back easily.

Is Android 18 an android or a cyborg?
Android 18 is a cyborg, not an actual android or robot. Both her and 17 were humans captured by Dr. Gero and he made them into cyborgs, hince why Cell could "eat" the two androids to achieve his Perfect Form because they had "flesh" as you could call it. Android 16 was an actual android, as Cell was not able to asborb him. For more information on this, please click here.

Krillin's daughter, Marron, is named after his ex-girlfriend.
No, Krillin did not name his little girl after Maron, the "girlfriend" from Garlic Jr. Saga in the anime. This was filler and she, therefore, does not actually exist.
