Gohan

Krillin becomes very protective over and Gohan becomes very close with Krillin, mainly with the events on Namek. I think Krillin is in a way, a "godfather" role or maybe an "uncle role" as stated on Gohan's fanlisting. In fact, Krillin kept Gohan from getting killed on Namek countless times. In the Japanese version, Krillin developed a trend in swearing at Gohan to get things through to him, while in the English version he was a bit less harsh and more open with Gohan on some of his mistakes. Krillin countless times saved Gohan on Namek and in the second Broly movie, Krillin saves Gohan from being burned to death by lava (dressed up as Piccolo for some crazy reason). Gohan also reacts very happily to see Krillin wished back to life after being killed on Namek.

Gohan looks up to Krillin and even after the fight with Cell and Android 18 leaves Kami's Lookout, he claims that Krillin will have Dende and Mirai Trunks with him, so he doesn't need any women (a classic Goku/Gohan scene, father like son). Of course, it only takes seven years later for Krillin to get back at Gohan for that remark by teasing Gohan about his relationship Videl and teases that he should marry Videl. I think even over time when is less screen time with Krillin and Gohan, their relationship is still very strong.

The best evidance is when Gohan is being attacked at the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament, Krillin tries rushes out to save Gohan despite Piccolo grabbing his shirt and Supreme Kai/Shin tells Krillin that he cannot get involved. Krillin says in the Japanese version "Why, you!" as Gohan is being attacked and in the English version, he says he cannot stand it.
