Original question: Can Pan and Bra transform into female Super Saiyans?

I get asked this question a lot and I personally think it needs to be answered. The answer is no, Pan nor Bra (Bulla) can transform into a Super Saiyan. Pan is only 1/4 Saiyan, making her almost completely human. She hasn't shown the ability to recover and have more strength from a serious battle like Goku or any of the Saiyan-hybrids. Pan also hasn't had the need, desperation, or indignation to transform, as she needs a pure heart (whether pure good or pure evil) and Pan hasn't been shown to have either one in any media, despite she fights with the Z-Senshi in Dragonball GT. Even though Pan's grandson transformed into a Super Saiyan during Dragonball GT and has even less Saiyan blood that Pan, I also think that Pan being almost completely human provides that the human blood she has "covers" the Saiyan blood in her and would stop the ability of transforming Super Saiyan. Of course, with Pan also being 1/4 Saiyan, she is able to control ki easier without having to go through harsh training that full blood humans like Krillin, Yamcha, and Chaozu have had to do to obtain the ability to use their ki. Also, Akira Toriyama stated he never drew female Super Saiyans, so there is another reason she cannot go Super Saiyan.

Bra, on the other hand, would probably have the better ability to transform Super Saiyan if she could. Unlike Pan, she is 1/2 Saiyan and 1/2 Human, such increasing her ability to be stronger than Pan if Bra would train. Bra hasn't trained like Pan (nor any of the other Saiyans and Saiyan-hybrids) to even show she has could control over her ki and perform any attacks. She has shown the ability to fly in Dragonball GT under Baby's control (it could also mean she was only able to fly because Baby knew how to control the ki within her or was simply another plot hole in GT) and she gave her Saiyan energy to Baby. This could also mean after a serious injury, she would become stronger because her human blood doesn't cover up the ability that Saiyans get stronger from a serious wound. Of course, Bra would first have to actually train more so to even get the need and other things to be able to do half of the things Pan has been able to do.

Please note that I learned from Bura that reported in Dragonball Online that are female Super Saiyans in the game, so this theory page might change in the future.
